Welcome to the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy, Universitas Trisakti.

The Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy Universitas Trisakti was established to meet the oil and gas industry’s need for reliable experts in the fields of earth sciences and energy. It was founded as a joint consortium between Pertamina and Universitas Trisakti, based on a shared charter signed on July 7, 1979. Currently, FTKE has grown into four leading study programs: Petroleum Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, and a Master’s program in Petroleum Engineering.

The vision of FTKE Usakti is to become a reliable, internationally standardized faculty that still upholds local values in developing earth sciences and energy technologies, in order to enhance the quality of life and civilization.

In line with this vision, FTKE Usakti continuously strives to meet the needs of its stakeholders, which include societal needs, industrial needs, and professional needs. This is achieved by maintaining and improving the quality of higher education through continuous improvement, which is implemented internally to realize the vision and mission through the administration of the “Tridharma” of Higher Education.

Over the past 40 years, FTKE Usakti has produced high-quality graduates who have succeeded in their respective fields. This is evidenced by the successful alumni profiles, many of whom hold important positions in major companies and government institutions. FTKE Usakti also maintains an extensive network and strong alumni bonds in the industry and collaborates with universities both domestically and abroad. FTKE Usakti leverages these networks with alumni and industries to develop an education system tailored to industry needs, which is regularly evaluated.

External conditions show that FTKE Usakti’s existence remains highly relevant and will continue to add value to Indonesia’s development in the future, considering the vast area and potential mineral and energy resources in the country. In the energy sector, in line with the government’s policy direction to develop environmentally friendly alternative energy, FTKE has pioneered efforts in the development of new and renewable energy, realized through the establishment of a research center focused on this area.
