Workshop on Writing and Publishing Q2, Q3, Q4 Scientific Journals
Scientific publication plays a crucial role for students in higher education, especially at Universitas Trisakti’s Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology (FTKE). Without scientific publications, knowledge will not progress, especially as research has advanced significantly. The development and advancement of knowledge can be articulated through scientific journal publications. Therefore, every student must now have an active attitude in creating scientific publications to contribute to the development of knowledge.
The Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology Universitas Trisakti is organizing a “Workshop on Writing for Reputable International Journals” for two days on December 11-12, 2023, at Building D, 5th floor, Diponogoro room. This workshop aims to enhance students’ abilities in writing articles for scientific publication, both in accredited national journals and reputable international journals.
Assistant Dean III, Ir. Mulia Ginting, M.T., supported by the Assistant to Dean III and the Litdimaslum Subdivision III, hopes that the results of this activity will enhance students’ abilities in writing scientific articles and foster their enthusiasm and motivation to continue writing scientific publications to support the excellent accreditation targets of programs within the Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology.
The event was opened by Vice Dean I, Dr. Suryo Prakoso, S.T., M.T.
The speaker for the Workshop on Writing and Publishing Scientific Journals is Dr. Martha Rianna, S.si (Lecturer of the Physics Program, University of North Sumatra).
There were 70 active student participants from the Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology Universitas Trisakti.
Hopefully, this activity can realize the vision of FTKE, which is to become a reliable, internationally standardized faculty while still considering local values in developing knowledge, earth sciences, and energy technology, to enhance quality of life and civilization.
