The Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology, Trisakti University has held a Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) FTKE Usakti which was held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 starting from 08.00-17.00 WIB, online via zoom meeting.

The FTKE Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) event was organized by DRPMF FTKE Usakti which was attended by Lecturers of Petroleum Engineering Study Program, Geological Engineering Study Program Lecturers, Mining Engineering Study Program Lecturers and Petroleum Engineering Master Program Lecturers, FTKE Usakti,

In this event as Keynote Speaker: Maman Abdurrahman, S.T., (Vice Chairman of Commission VII DPR RI).
Plenary Session 1 by Ir. Nara Nilandaroe, MM (General Manager of Genting Oil & Gas),
Plenary Session 2 by Azaria Indra Wardhana, S.T., M.Sc. (Policy Analyst Junior Expert, Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, Directorate of Mineral and Coal Program Development).

This event was held against the background of the development of science and technology in the era of globalization of the academic community to always keep abreast of the latest developments. In every academic year, students of the Faculty of Earth Technology and Energy conduct final research projects with various themes related to geoscience and energy under the guidance of lecturers with expertise according to the theme. In addition, students also have the opportunity to participate in lecturer research which is carried out regularly so that FTKE students can produce works with various topics of expertise.
In the 2022 FTKE Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) there are 82 student papers that are included.

The FTKE 2022 Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) activity aims to provide a forum for students to develop their ability to produce scientific works that are novel. In this activity, students can present their ideas through writing scientific articles and seminars. This is useful in broadening the horizons of the entire academic community, including lecturers and students. In addition, students also received additional information from academics and practitioners who were invited to be resource persons in this activity. By holding this activity, it is hoped that it can foster the spirit of research, writing, and increase students' self-confidence. 

Hopefully with the Implementation of the 2022 FTKE Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) event, it will increase the competence and enthusiasm of the lecturers and students. Through the 2022 FTKE Student Scientific Seminar (SIM) it is hoped that lecturers and students can foster the spirit of researching, writing, and increasing self-confidence.
