Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology (FTKE) Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with PT Geoservices, held a seminar with the theme “CCS/CCUS Monitoring and AGI for Exploration” on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, conducted online. The objective of this seminar is to provide an overview of the role of Amplified Geochemical Imaging (AGI) technology in oil and gas exploration and Carbon Capture Storage.

The seminar commenced with opening remarks by Vice Dean III of FTKE, Ir. Mulia Ginting, M.T. The event continued with speakers from PT Geoservices. The speakers included Rick Schrynemeeckers, EVP & CTO Low Carbon Services at AGI, along with Mona Rachmalia, Head of Geochemical PT Geoservices, and Sani Gunawan, Head of Geological Lab PT Geoservices. The speakers, Mona Rachmalia and Sani Gunawan, explained the utilization of AGI technology in oil exploration, while Rick Schrynemeeckers, who was planned to discuss the utilization of AGI technology for Carbon Capture Storage, was unable to attend.

Participants of this event included active students within the Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology Universitas Trisakti, as well as faculty members.
